Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and MaargaOS (“MaargaOS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the MaargaOS website, applications, browser extension, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher);
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; and
• Not be barred from using the Service under the laws of your country of residence or any other applicable jurisdiction.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

MaargaOS is an AI-assisted career platform. Its features include, without limitation: building and tailoring resumes, analyzing job postings, discovering and matching job opportunities, practicing mock interviews (including voice and coding rounds), generating learning paths, and tracking job applications. A browser extension may assist with autofilling application forms.

The Service is provided on an evolving basis. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service or any feature thereof.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and keep it updated. You may register using an email and password or a third-party sign-in provider (e.g., Google). You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
• All activities that occur under your account, whether or not authorized by you; and
• Notifying us immediately at support@maargaos.com of any unauthorized access or security breach.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account.

You retain all ownership rights in the content you submit to the Service, including your resume, profile information, notes, and application data (“User Content”).

You grant MaargaOS a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and transmit your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, to generate a tailored resume, compute a match score, or draft interview answers. This license ends when you delete your User Content or your account, except where retention is required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal content.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

The Service uses artificial-intelligence models to generate resumes, suggestions, match scores, interview questions and feedback, and other output (“AI Output”). AI Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading.

• You must review and verify all AI Output before relying on it or submitting it to any third party, including employers.
• AI Output does not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical, or career advice.
• Match scores, salary estimates, and job data are estimates aggregated from third-party sources and are provided for convenience only, with no guarantee of accuracy, availability, or that a listed role is still open.
• You are solely responsible for the content you send to employers and for the outcomes of your job search.

You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to employers or to the Service;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or data except as permitted by law;
• Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or networks;
• Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code, or use the Service to transmit spam;
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce;
• Use the browser extension to submit applications automatically without human review, or in violation of any third-party website’s terms; or
• Infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others.

We may investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts, for any violation.

The Service integrates and links to third-party services and data, including job aggregators and company career boards, authentication providers, and AI model providers. Job listings and related data originate from third parties; we do not control and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or the practices of the employers or platforms they link to. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that third party’s own terms and privacy policy.

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, the “MaargaOS” name and marks, and all related intellectual property, is owned by MaargaOS or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you in these Terms, we reserve all rights. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

MaargaOS is currently offered free of charge during our early-access period. We may introduce paid plans or premium features in the future. If we do:

• Pricing and plan details will be presented clearly before you purchase;
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, and you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your payment method;
• Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable; and
• We may change pricing prospectively with reasonable notice.

Continued use of any paid feature after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

THE SERVICE AND ALL AI OUTPUT AND JOB DATA ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any job listing is accurate, current, or available. We do not warrant that using the Service will result in employment, interviews, or any particular outcome.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MAARGAOS AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MaargaOS and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MaargaOS is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved first through good-faith negotiation, and, if unresolved, before the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your place of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
